Tuesday's primetime television brought more reality, a couple of summer premieres and one series end. Extreme Weight Loss (1.2/3) kicked off the night on ABC. Back for a third season, the two-hour reality show saw twins desperate to lose the pounds that had plagued them for years. Down 20% from last year’s premiere on June 3, 2012, Tuesday’s debut was the lowest yet for Extreme Weight Loss. Following that, it was the season and series finale of the now cancelled Body of Proof(1.2/3). The drama's third season ender was double down. It slide 14% from it last original on May 14 to tie a series low and fell a whooping 37% from its Season 2 finale on April 10, 2012.

NBC began its double shot of The Voice last night with a one-hour special Recap (1.7/5) of the final eight performers. Then it was to The Voice (3.0/8) live elimination show. The one-hour airing saw a performance from Sheryl Crow with judge Blake Shelton's team and two contestants from judge Adam Levine's team sent home. While the highest rated and most watched show of the night, Tuesday's Voice dipped 6% from its May 21 show to hit a new Tuesday series low. Of course, the nature of live shows is that we can expect an adjustment in the final ratings later today. NBC ended its night with an encore of The Office (1.0/3) finale.
Facing off against the two hours of The Voice, Fox's So You Think You Can Dance (1.8/5) went to Boston for more auditions. The third week of the show's 10th season saw Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy joined by Rock of Ages director and former SYTYCD judge Adam Shankman. It also saw the show tumble 10% from last week but with a 6% rise in viewership to 5.0 million.
The only new show on CBS last night was the debut of Brooklyn D.A. (1.0/3). The six-part documentary series about the NYC borough's District Attorney's office took on the case of a murdered police office among other others in its premiere. There were some harsh ratings realities for the show too. Brooklyn D.A. was down 23% from the premiere last year of docu-series Dogs In The City on May 30, 2012. Otherwise, CBS aired encores of NCIS (1.1/4) and NCIS: LA (1.2/3)
CBS won the night in terms of total viewers with NBC taking the No. 1 spot among Adults 18-49.
