Spaceball conqueror Bill Pullman is brushing up on his bard for “Cymberline”, Michael Almereyda’s contemporary take on Willy Shakespeare’s dusty chronicle of battle, betrayal and broads.
The former “1600 Penn” star joins Ed Harris, Ethan Hawke, Penn Badgley, Milla Jovovich, Anton Yelchin, John Leguizamo, Delroy Lindo and future ’50 Shades of Grey’ star Dakota Johnson in the tale of dirty cops and a drug-dealing biker gang in 21st Century America.
Spencer Treat Clark (“Much Ado About Nothing”) and “Treme” star James Ransone have also joined the cast.
Pullman’s most recent credits include indies “Lola Versus”, “Red Sky” and ‘May in the Summer”. He’s expected to be a part of the forthcoming “Independence Day” sequel, recently announced by 20th Century Fox.
